Therapy for all

  • Life, relationships, parenting--- it’s all messy. Sometimes we think about our lives and wonder how we got to where we are now. You may even think “This is not how I expected things to be.” Sometimes these situations can leave us feeling depressed, discouraged, or full of anxiety. Maybe you even feel hopeless sometimes. You don’t have to feel that way. You can do more than just survive--- you can truly live.

Individual therapy is focused on you, the client. You are the expert in your life. It takes a lot of courage to ask for help, walk into therapy and put yourself in the spotlight. Our focus at Balance Mental Health & Wellness is to empower you as an individual and encourage you to focus on your strengths, abilities, and your goals.

  • Relationships can be equally wonderful and fulfilling, but not without their own complications. Sometimes couples can feel lost, disconnected, hurt, or stuck. It’s often scary to think about what bringing those complications into the light will do for our relationships. Facing those fears and allowing support through therapy is a great first step.

Couple’s therapy can be a catalyst for creating lasting changes that increase intimacy, connections, and communication between you and your partner. We will personalize our therapeutic approach to best suit your individual needs and goals as well as recognize your strengths as a couple.

  • Navigating childhood and adolescence can be difficult not only for the kids but for the caregivers as well. Children and adolescents are often experiencing social, emotional, and communication issues which can often lead to negative behaviors like using alcohol, drugs, self-harm, aggressive behaviors, and negative feelings about themselves.

We can help provide your child or teen with the tools, coping skills, and therapeutic outlet to increase their awareness and develop healthy coping mechanisms for big emotions.

  • Families can be weird, complicated, and confusing. We all want happy families that support us, help us grow, and provide us security when we are feeling our most vulnerable. This ideal is not always easy to achieve. It sometimes takes a lot of extra work, communication, and boundary-setting—skills that don’t come naturally to many of us. Often, we must be more intentional in our efforts to create healthier spaces for these relationships. The clinicians at Balance Mental Health & Wellness can provide the support you need while you are navigating the emotions and behaviors associated with your unique family dynamics.
